About the Ngwa National Association Apprenticeship & Skill-Acquisition Program

The Ngwa National Association Apprenticeship & Skill-Acquisition Program is a vital initiative aimed at empowering the youth of the Ngwa community through skill development and vocational training. Established in 2023 to address the pressing need for skilled professionals in various trades, the program provides participants with hands-on experience and mentorship in fields such as mechanics, baking, catering, event planning, and more. By focusing on practical skills and real-world applications, we aim to equip our apprentices with the tools necessary to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

Our Ngwa apprenticeship program is specifically designed for individuals of Ngwa descent who have completed their Primary School Leaving Certificate or the West African School Certificate (WASC) examination. We firmly believe that quality education and vocational training are fundamental for success. By empowering young people at the outset of their professional journeys, we aim to cultivate a new generation of skilled workers who will significantly contribute to the Ngwa community’s development.

In the successful 2023-2024 session, we proudly supported thirty-two candidates from seven local government areas across the Ngwa region. This achievement underscores our deep commitment to inclusivity, youth empowerment, and community engagement within Ngwa land. The application process for the Ngwa National Association Apprenticeship Program is straightforward and accessible. Interested candidates must submit a completed application form along with their WASC statement of result. Additionally, applicants are required to provide a testimonial letter from a respected member of the community, such as the Village Head, Village Chief, Community Eze, or Local Government Chairman. This documentation not only verifies the applicant’s educational background but also reflects their standing within the Ngwa community.
